Flagstaff Neurosurgery is committed to providing our patients with the highest quality of care and compassion. Our approach is to combine the least invasive with the most effective, proven treatment available, specifically tailored for each patient.
Neurosurgery involves the diagnosis and treatment of diseases or conditions that affect the brain, spinal cord and nerves in the body, including their blood supply and supporting structures. Treatment may be surgical or non-surgical, determined by the best means of managing the specific problem.
Our goal is to provide these services in an efficient, effective and timely manner. We will work alongside our medical colleagues, always advocating for our patients, hoping to improve the quality of their lives. Flagstaff Neurosurgery is a single specialty group private practice that is dedicated to delivering the highest quality neurosurgical care possible.
Why choose a neurosurgeon?
Neurosurgeons are trained as both brain and spine surgeons. They are the only physicians who surgically treat the brain and the entire spine, including the spinal cord and nerves.
Neurosurgeons are often thought of as only brain surgeons. Actually, neurosurgeons receive more training, education and experience in brain and spine surgery than any other physician. In addition to medical school, neurosurgeons attend a seven year residency program which provides rigorous, comprehensive surgical training.
Our neurosurgeons have completed these lengthy education programs, and are board certified in their field.
