Sam Safavi Abbasi MDDr. Sam Safavi-Abbasi has recently joined Flagstaff Neurosurgery after completing his fellowship at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, AZ and his neurosurgery residency training at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. He specializes in minimally invasive neurosurgical procedures, brain tumors, spinal disorders, Chiari malformation, trigeminal neuralgia and numerous other vascular procedures. Dr. Safavi-Abbasi is extensively published and enjoys presenting at national and international conferences and performing neurosurgical missions. He recently completed a two week mission to Africa.

Dr. Safavi-Abbasi spends his free time with his family, mountain biking, hiking, playing soccer and volleyball, and loves the lifestyle that Flagstaff provides.
